Dyspraxia
It affects motor planning, coordination, and sequencing of movements required for mobility, speech, and functional communication.
The interventions aim to improve motor coordination, gross and fine motor skills. Particular emphasis is placed on precision, synchronization and planning in relation to Occupational Therapy.
In Speech Therapy, interventions aim to strengthen oral skills, through repetitive exercises, guided speech and audiovisual stimuli. We focus on clarity, the production of appropriate phonemes and the organization of speech. Children are encouraged to use alternative ways of communication where necessary, while self-confidence and independence in everyday expression are enhanced.
